ECO club
ECO club is the place to be if you are interested in saving the planet! We participate in numerous community service events. We are always accepting new members. Club dues are $5. We meet once a month in room 8142. See Ms. Gonzales for more information.
STAAR Club
The STAAR club stands for Students Taking An Active Role. We will be visiting the nursing homes as well as doing fundraisers/collection drives for local communities, in particular the homeless kids. Our next meeting is October 13th, you may attend the meeting either before school at 8:00 or after school at 4:15 in A106. The following meetings will be the first Thursday of every month in A106.

House of Commons
House of commons every third Tuesday unless it conflicts and we put out alternative information.
WCMUN and Intercultural Club
WCMUN meets the last Wednesday of every month in the Library classroom at 4:15 PM or 8AM in room B219. Sponsor: Beatriz Lugo
Intercultural Club will be meeting on Thursday, October 13 in the morning at 8AM and 4:10 in the afternoon in room B219.

SMILE Club
S.M.I.L.E Club’s main objective is to encourage students in the Special Education program to participate in campus activities such as attending athletic events and prom. We work with the Special Olympics athletes and volunteer at their competitions throughout the school year. We fundraise for off-campus activities (ex. SA Rodeo) and for the spring Special Olympics Field Day where feeder middle schools are invited to attend. TEXT @smilewc to 81010 for more information!

CHESS CLUB
Chess Club meets every Thursday after school in the library; students are free to stay until 5:15. We have veteran players and beginners. We do not compete in tournaments or do any fundraising - we just play chess.

INTERACT CLUB
This is a great opportunity for students to become involved in their community and also to earn their community service hours. We meet the third Thursday of every month in room 3203. Our next meeting with be on October 20 at 8:00.
VIDEO TECH/WCTV CLUB
Video Tech Club will be having it's 1st meeting Tuesday Oct. 4th at 8am in room A207!
DECA
DECA is preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to become college and career ready. We meet every other Thursday morning in CT 625. Student compete in over 55 different business, marketing and finance competitions at a local, state and national level. The club as a whole will participate in community service, advocacy and promotional campaigns.
BOOK CLUB

Book Club meets monthly (sometimes more often) in the morning in the library to discuss books. We love to share what we are currently reading and talk about our book choice of the month. Listen to the announcements to find out when we meet next or look for the flyers in the library building.
We will work with some students in theatre arts to put on a Creepy Café in October. Students will read scary stories aloud to anyone who wants to listen.
CRAFT CLUB
PLEASE SEND YOUR CLUB NEWS!!!
Craft Club meets every Wednesday afternoon in the library in the make and take room. Any craft is welcome. We love to show others what makes us happy and to teach others if they want to learn how to do it too. We are a "no worries" club; we just enjoy each others company as we do our craft.
